In addition to our testing services, we offer a traveling accessibility lab (formerly the DAGERS Accessibility Experience). Through this on-site demonstration, developers can simulate disabilities to learn just how impactful proper game design can be.

Meet our CEO
Apex Access, formerly DAGERS Inc, was originally founded in 2015 by Joshua Straub, the founder of DAGERSystem, a nonprofit for empowering disabled gamers. In addition to his philanthropic work, Straub has functioned as an independent games consultant since 2015. He was born with Cerebral Palsy and has always had a passion for games and storytelling. He holds a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters in Human Factors. Straub is also in the final stages of a Ph. D. at the University of Minnesota in Human Factors and Ergonomics. He is a life-long gamer and loves the challenge of educating game studios about how to design games that are accessible to physically impaired gamers without alienating their core audience.
